Kennesaw State keeps stacking losses, the latest of which was an ugly scene against Liberty on Thursday night. The Owls fell to 1-6 with the 34-6 blowout against the CUSA favorites, remaining winless on the season against FBS opposition. Fun times.
What’d PFF think of the performance?
Landon Varnes leads the way on offense with a 67.8, which surely won’t spark any extracurricular conversation between now and MTSU. Mack discussed his cameo performance postgame but said that the staff would need to go back and watch the film before weighing in on whether this could mean more playing time for the JUCO transfer. RG Mike Wallace and backup left tackle Zamario Woodgett make up the rest of the top three on offense.
On defense, Luke Evans played all but two snaps and scored the highest grade at a 78.1. KSU did a nice job on Liberty’s Makai Jackson, who finished with a season low in targets (3), receptions (1), and yardage (25). Linebackers Josh Anglin and Baron Hopson rounded out the top three on defense.
